How it Works
Convenience is important to customers, so ProArtsTickets sells advanced, reserved or general admission single and group tickets via telephone 412.394.3353 and our secure, newly redesigned, website. We can also manage your subscription sales and fundraising initiatives.
ProArtsTickets is truly a partnership, where we work closely with you every step of the way to ensure a top-notch ticketing program. Your organization sets the ticket price and ProArts adds a nominal sliding service charge, the lowest in the city, to cover the administrative costs (chart below). The only cost to you is reimbursement of postage and credit card transactions.

Our ticket sales representatives are well trained. Our staff is available to attend rehearsals, so they can provide the most in-depth information regarding your event. In addition, they can offer knowledgeable insight to your customers regarding venues, restaurants, parking and directions.

- Our secure, online ticketing site www.proartstickets.org enables people to order tickets 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Phone lines are staffed from 10AM-5:30PM, Monday through Friday and from 12:30PM-5:30PM on Saturdays. Our voice mail system allows people to leave a message during off hours and they will receive a follow up call the next business day.
- Customers can easily make a donation to your organization as they purchase a ticket.
- ProArtsTickets collects payment with each sale, reducing the number of no-shows considerably.
- Customers enjoy the convenience of paying by Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and by personal check.
- Your organization’s tickets are printed as they are sold with your organization’s name, event, seat number and ticket price, providing you with a strong audit trail and eliminating the need for buying pre-printed ticket stock.
- ProArtsTickets collects and maintains detailed patron data, including ticket buyers names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, preferred payment method, special requests and how they learned of your event. All of this information is maintained in a Windows-based database that can be provided to you electronically or as a hard copy after the event.

Getting Started
ProArtsTickets is partially supported by grants from major foundations. The set-up fees listed below help offset ongoing expenses including staffing, maintaining the ticketing system and other administrative expenses. As an additional benefit to becoming an Arts Council member, members receive 20% off these fees.
